Antique door handle, modified and replicated to fit out a whole house with 16 pairs.
This Job required a complete redesign of how the handle fitted, because the cost of milling out all of the intricate parts would have brought the project severely over budget. So we had work through some ideas using sketches, until a suitable solution was found. The original and only surviving door handle had to be modified using modeling wax and a mould made of it. Before going into production we had to test our own prototypes, on site, several times to prove the design worked.
